A Wilkes County man has died as the result of an accident in Watauga County.
65-year old William Clegg Scroggs III of Moravian Falls died on Thursday, June 10th at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Wiston Salem. Scroggs had been airlifted to that facilty after he crashed a motorcycle on the Blue Ridge Parkway on Saturday, June 5th. The crash was reported near milepost 287.7.
