Man Is Back In Alexander County Jail

An Iredell County man is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center after his arrest for felony probation violation. 38-year old David Wayne Mecimore of Olin was confined on Thursday. A secured bond of $5,000 was set and as of this morning he remained in jail.

Mecimore has close to 50 pending charges in Alexander, Caldwell, Iredell,and Mecklenburg Counties. Some of the charges include felony possession of methamphetamine, felony larceny of vehicle parts, felony larceny of a motor vehicle, felony possession of stolen goods, injury to personal property, and resisting arrest.
