Three people have been charged with the kidnapping and attempted murder of a man in Wilkes County.
On Tuesday, a male subject was found severely beaten and was left for dead behind a residence off Fish Dam Creek Road. The victim was identified by the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office as Ethan Keith Gilreath, 21, of Elkin. Gilreath was suffering from multiple head injuries and was taken to Wilkes Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
36 year old Linda Duncan Correll is charged with attempted first dgree murder, conspiracy to commit first degree murder, and first degree kidnapping. Mersadeys Justyce Lyvers, age 16 is charged with frist degree kidnapping and felony possession of methamphetamine. 21 year old Charles Dylan Terry of Hamptonville is charged with first degree kidnapping.Correll is said to be the mother of Lyvers and both live in Wilkes County. The three suspects were placed in the Wilkes County Detention Center. Correll has a $150,000 secured bond, Lyvers has a $50,000 secured bond and Terry has a $30,000 secured bond.
