Newton Police arrested a Lincolnton man Sunday on charges that resulted in a bond of $275,000. 34 year Larry Jermaine Gibbs was charged with felony possession of heroin, failure to appear on charges of possession of schedule IV controlled substance, failure to appear for possession of a firearm by a felon, and failure to appear as a habitual felon. Gibbs was placed in the Catawba County Detention make an initial court appearance today in Newton.
