Hickory Police arrested 25-year old Mark Edward Hinson of Hickory this morning and charged him with felony trafficking of opium or heroin. He was also charged with possession of schedule IV controlled substance. A secured bond of $50,000 was set, Hinson remains in the Catawba County Detention Center.
