Hickory Police arrested a man overnight on a variety of charges including drug trafficking. Joshua Trent Seay, age 29 of Hickory was taken into custody on charges of trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of schedule II controlled substance, Seay was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $80,000. He will make a court appearance today.
