Austin Sinclaire Anthony, age 32 of Newton, was arrested this morning by Hickory Police. Anthony is facing two charges of assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. He is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $4,000. A court appearance is scheduled for today.
