Lenoir Man Held Under $500,000 Bond After Drug Arrest

A Lenoir man is facing felony drug charges following his Thursday arrest.

Lenoir Police arrested 30-year-old Nigel Brooks Gibbs for felony counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in heroin or opium, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance, and possession with intent to sell or deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school (two counts).

Gibbs has been jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center with bond set at $500,000, secured. He remained in jail as of this morning. A first appearance in District Court was scheduled today in Lenoir.
