Lake Norman thumped the Alexander Central’s JV Football team Thursday night in Mooresville.
The Wildcats built a 16-0 halftime lead and and were up 23-0 in the 4th quarter. The Baby Cougars would get their lone score with 25 seconds remaining in the contest when Sawyer Champan-Mays rushed in from 3 yards.
Mays gained 100 yards on 17 carries to lead the offense that was without injured starting quarterback Wade Queen.
Jayon Conner led the AC defense with 7 tackles.
Alexander Central drops to 2-2 on the season.
