Hit And Run Sunday Morning On Old Mtn. Road

A Troutman resident has been charged with hit and run in Alexander County. On Sunday morning, 28-year-old Mitchell Avery Doss was arrested by the North Carolina Highway Patrol. He’s been charged with driving while impaired, reckless driving with wanton disregard, failure to maintain lane control and hit/run leaving the scene of an accident. Following his arrest, Doss was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center.
