Iredell County Man Charged In Connection To Eastern NC Shooting Incident

On Saturday, July 4th, Mooresville Police Officers arrested Nasir Jyquon Baker, age 20 of Mooresville, and charged him with felony possession of a firearm on which the permanent serial number was filed-off and carrying a concealed weapon.

Baker was served warrants from the Greenville, NC Police Department for

Felony attempted murder
Felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill
Felony discharging a weapon into occupied property
Felony conspiracy

The charges stem from an incident that took place on June 28th in Pitt County.

No other details have been released.

Baker remains in the Iredell County Detention Center.
