Brooklyn Lynn Hawkins, age 21, Jimmy Duncan LN., Taylorsville, has been charged with a series of cruelty to animals offenses. She is also charged in violation of five- local ordinance violations regarding animal care. Hawkins is being held in the Alexander County as of earlier this morning with a secured bond set at $10,000.
