Skeletal remains were found Friday morning in Wilkes County.
The body was found down a ravine behind Mountain Health Solutions located at 241 Northview Plaza, North Wilkesboro. It’s unclear if the deceased person was male or female.
The area is known to have multiple homeless people living there.
The discovery of the remains was reported around 11:40 a.m. according to the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office. The SBI is also part of the investigation.
