Hickory Police said today the 15-year-old male wanted in a Hickory shooting was charged earlier this year with stealing a car from the parking lot at Valley Hills Mall.
The juvenile is wanted for the shooting death of 35-year-old Shonniel Blackburn. The teen was on electronic monitoring at the time of the Monday shooting at a southeast apartment complex.
Three other teens. All 16 years of age, have been arrested in connection with the slaying.
It was reported earlier the 15-year old was spotted in a stolen silver 2019 Nissan Sentra.
Names of the suspects have not been released due to their age.
