Hickory Police Officers arrested 31-year old Daryll Rashad Covington on Saturday and charged him with a series of crimes. The Hickory resident faces two counts of discharging a firearm in the city, assault with a deadly weapon, multiple counts of injury to personal property and possession of a firearm by a felon. Covington is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $32,000. A Monday, August 22nd court date is scheduled.
