Hickory Man Jailed For Multiple Offenses

A Hickory man is facing a long list of charges. 39-year old Joshua Aaron Gibbs was arrested Saturday by Hickory Police. He’s charged with felony identity theft, felony possession of a counterfeit instrument, felony obtaining property by false pretense, felony possession of heroin and resisting a public officer. In addition, Gibbs was served warrants for a series of missed court appearances and felony probation violation/ Gibbs is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secure bond of $41,000. A series of court appearances are scheduled including Monday in Catawba County District Court.
