Hickory Man Facing Felony Charges In Alexander And Caldwell Counties

Michael Aaron Knepp, age 47 of Hickory, was transferred from custody in Caldwell County on Monday, July 3rd to the custody of the Alexander County Detention Center. He faces charges in relation to a June 15th incident by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office for felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. As of earlier today he remains behind bars under a $55,000 secured bond. His Taylorsville court appearance is set for July 17th.

Knepp is also awaiting trial in Caldwell County for felony larceny of a motor vehicle, felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle and felony obtaining property by false pretense. His next Caldwell County District Court appearance is set for July 24th.
