Hickory Police arrested a man this morning involving a hit and run incident. Elijah Dontavious Austin, age 20 of Hickory was taken into custody and charged with hit and run/failure to stop/property damage. Austin was confined in the Catawba County Detention Center under a $2,000 secured bond.
