On Tuesday, Alexander County Deputies were dispatched to a location in Bethlehem after report of a suspicious person. Officers located 33-year old Wesley Brian Weaver. He was charged with vandalism with damage to personal property, assaulting a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and felony malicious conduct by an inmate. As of earlier today, Weaver remains in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond. A first court appearance is set for Monday, June 17th in Taylorsville.
Weaver has a pending charge in Caldwell County for felony possession of methamphetamine. His Lenoir court date is listed as July 10th.
