Granite Falls Man Charged After Trying To Elude Police

28-year-old Joseph Lee Eaker was arrested Tuesday by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies.

He’s charged with felony counts of flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle, and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

Eaker was incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $20,000 secured bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today in Lenoir.
