Early Voter Turnout Approaching 50 Percent

549 voters cast a ballot on Saturday in Alexander County. So far, 10,510 early votes have been counted along with 1,256 early mail-in ballots. The 11,776 votes represent 47.52 percent of the registered voters in the county.
