Conover Man Arrested This Morning

A Conover man was arrested early this morning on a series of charges filed by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.

23-year old Gabriel Dawson Propst is charged with assault on a female, assault by strangulation, identity theft, attempting to break and enter a motor vehicle and multiple felony probation violations. He is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with without bond on the assault on a female charge. An initial court appearance is scheduled for today.
