Catawba County Man In Custody

A Hickory man awaiting trial on multiple felony charges is back in jail after being a no-show in court.

43-year old Thalmus Jaton Linder was served arrest warrants for failure to appear on charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury and hit and run is accident with serious injury or death. Linder is being held without bond in the Catawba County Jail. He is scheduled for a court appearance on Monday, August 1st in Newton.

Jaton also has charges pending for felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony sell and deliver crack cocaine, felony possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and assault on a female.
