The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death. A body was found Wednesday evening on Riverbend Road near Claremont.
No other details have been released.

The victim has been identified as 56-year old William Crowder of Claremont. The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office has yet to release any further information. Check back for updates.
