The following is a release from Hickory Police:
On Thursday, March 7, 2019 at approximately 9:20 P.M., Hickory Police responded to Salsaritas located at 944 2nd ST NE reference an armed robbery. During the robbery the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the manager go to a back room of the business. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled.
The suspect is described as being a Black male, wearing a mask, black Nike hooded shirt with a red stripe, black sweatpants and gloves.
