Alexander County Deputies Arrest Man After Traffic Stop

As the result of a traffic stop early Friday morning, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year old Travis Cornelius Pharr. Pharr is a resident of Alexander County but has a Statesville address. He’s charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon and driving while license revoked.

Pharr is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $20,000. An initial court appearance is scheduled for Monday, August 1st.
