Alexander Central’s Junior Varsity Football Team opened their Spring 2021 Football season with a 30-6 thumping of Watauga Thursday night in Taylorsville.
The Baby Cougars were led by quarterback Luke Hammer who rushed for 127 yards. Hammer found the endzone twice on runs of 1 and 90 yards. Logan Shoemaker scored on a 5 yard run and Kenji Vang found paydirt from the 3. Cameron Grant led ACHS in tackles with 5.
Watauga scored their only points with 20 seconds remaining in the game.
With the win, the AC junior varsity winning streak reaches 43 games.
