After Release From Jail In Alexander County, Man Now In Catawba County Custody

28-year old Damon Joseph Scronce of Vale was arrested Tuesday by Catawba County Sheriff’s Deputies. Scronce is charged with common law robbery, second-degree trespass, and interfering with emergency communication. He is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday in Newton.

As reported last week, Scronce was ordered to jail by a judge in Alexander County on December 20th for contempt of court.
