Hiddenite Resident Now Facing Felony Counts In Two Counties

On Monday, May 15th, 31-year old Lawrence Christopher Ikerd of Hiddenite was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center on two charges of felony obtaining property by false pretense. As of earlier today, Ikerd remained in custody with a secured bond of $15,000. A June 2nd court date is set in Taylorsville.

On April 10th, B86 reported that Ikerd was charged by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office for felony larceny by employee and felony obtaining property by false pretense. Ikerd’s next court date in Catawba County is July 3rd.
