The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Hiddenite man on Sunday. 31-year old Christopher Lawrence Ikerd was served arrest warrants for felony larceny by employee and felony obtaining property by false pretense. Ikerd was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $22,500 with an initial court appearance scheduled for today in Newton.
