On Saturday, Hickory Police arrested a woman on habitual larceny charges. 56-year old Betty Katherine Wilfong of Hickory was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $20,000. She is scheduled to make a court appearance on Monday in Newton.
