Williams hit a 3-run walk off homer to give the Cougars a dramatic win over South Caldwell Tuesday evening in Taylorsville.
The game was tied at 3 after 7 innings and AC trailed 4-3 after the Spartans scored in the top of the 8th.
The Cougars led 3-0 after 2 innings but South scored a run in the 3rd and added a pair in the 4th.
Maddox Jack got the win in relief. South out-hit AC 8-5. There were 7 errors in the game, 4 by the visitors from Caldwell County.
Alexander Central is 10-1 and 2-1 in Northwestern Conference play.
