On November 14, 2022, at approximately 6:50 pm, the Wilkesboro Police Department received a call of a gun shot being fired in the area of the 4-Brothers Service Station located at 1301 Westwood Lane. When officers arrived on the scene, they located the caller who advised that an unknown person fired a gun at his vehicle striking his vehicle while in the parking lot of the service station. As a precaution, Wilkesboro Police officers secured the scene and locked the store down while they investigated the circumstances of the incident. Officers confirmed that no person was injured as a result of the incident. The incident is currently under further investigation. The person in the attached photograph is a person of interest involved in this incident. The Wilkesboro Police Department is asking if anyone has any information about this incident or the identity of the person of interest to contact Investigator Chris Arnder at 336-667-7277.
