Andrew Scott Villagomez
20-year old Andrew Scott Villagomez was taken into custody by the North Carolina Highway Patrol. The chase ended at the State Employees Credit Union on Highway 16 in Taylorsville. Villagomez has been charged with flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, careless and reckless driving, and various other offenses according to a Patrol spokesperson. The suspect was later released under a secured bond of $10,000 and is scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court on Monday, July 12th.
