68-year-old Robert Howard Arthur of Wilkesboro is facing six counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor. Arthur was arrested on Monday, May 1st by investigators with the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office.
Reports indicate the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. This tip was forwarded to the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office.
Arthur was placed in the Wilkes County Detention Center under a secured bond of $500,000. He is scheduled to make a court appearance Wednesday, May 10th in Wilkes County District Court.
