Wilkes Paramedic Dies Of COVID-19 Complications

A Wilkes County EMS Paramedic has died due to complications with COVID-19.

The organization confirmed Tuesday that 35-year old John Thomas Ring died on Labor Day. Ring had been employed by Wilkes EMS since 2017 and was affectionately known as ‘Ringo’ by his friends and co-workers according to a press release.
