Wilkes County Recorded 11 COVID-19 Deaths Last Week

The Wilkes County Health Department reports 11 COVID-19 associated deaths in the week of Monday, August 30, to Friday, September 3. 140 Wilkes citizens have died as the result of the COVID-19 virus.

43 Wilkes residents were hospitalized in connection with COVID-19 on Sept. 3.

The county has recorded 8,477 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
