Zachariah John Holland
Zachariah John Holland of Traphill was sentenced to a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 17 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to attempted statutory rape of a child in Wilkes County Superior Court on July 20.
Charges of statutory rape and indecent liberties with a minor were consolidated into attempted statutory rape of a child for sentencing as part of a plea agreement.
The charges were filed by the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office as a result of an investigation that began on February, 3rd. According to court records, the victim was a female age 15 or younger.
