Wilkes County Fugitive Arrested In Alexander County

A man wanted by authorities in Wilkes County was arrested on Friday, October 14th by Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies.

23-year old Andrew James Mullins of Taylorsville was located and served warrants for assault with a deadly weapon and assault-inflicting serious bodily injury. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $15,000. He was transferred to custody in Wilkes County on Monday.

Mullins also is awaiting trial on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge in Lincoln County.
