Kenneth Tyler Lane Childers, age 25 of Vale, was arrested Wednesday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. Childers has been charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of stolen goods, interfering with an electronic monitoring device, and 3 counts of felony probation out of county. He is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $80,000. He has a court appearance scheduled for today in Newton.
