Two Dozen New Cases Of COVID-19 Reported On Friday In Alexander County

24 new cases of COVID-19 were reported as of noon on Friday by the Alexander County Health Department

336 cases in last 14 days

192 cases in last 7 days

5148 since the beginning of the pandemic

9 people are in a hospital with COVID associated symptoms

97 deaths

39 percent of the county citizens have received 1 vaccine dose

36 percent have been fully vaccinated

The Alexander County Health Department is scheduling appointments for the Pfizer vaccine for persons age 12 and older and the Moderna vaccine for persons age 18 and older. To register for a vaccine appointment at our office,visit https://alexandercountync.gov/covid/ or call 828-632-9704
