Troutman Man Charged With Abuse Of Three-Month Old Child

A Troutman man has been charged with intentional child abuse.

Troutman Police say in a release that on November 22nd, they received a report of a 3-month-old child arriving at a local medical center suffering from injuries that were consistent with serious child abuse.

The department began an investigation which led to detectives obtaining a warrant for Sirrandon Tristopher Brown, age 20, of Troutman. He’s charged with intentional child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury

On Friday, December 15th, Brown turned himself into deputies at the Iredell County Detention Center. He was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond. As of earlier today, Brown is no longer in custody.

Brown’s next court date is January 5th in Iredell County District Court.
