Traffic Stop This Morning Leads To Felony Drug Charge in Alexander County

As result of a pre-dawn traffic stop on Friday, a Taylorsville woman a facing felony drug offense.

April Sharpe Robinette, age 48 Old Landfill RD., is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The suspect was arrested on August 13th by Sheriff’s Office and charged at that time with three-felony-counts of obtaining property by false pretense and one-count of credit card fraud. Robinette is being held without bond due to violation of her pre-trial release along with a list of previous convictions.
