Deputies located a male victim with injuries consistent with an assault and secured the scene so emergency medical personnel could provide treatment after responding to a report of a disturbance with shots fired at 1430 North Ridge Road about 12:50 a.m. Sunday.
Following an investigation, Deputies arrested Dellionte Quwntez Wilson, age 21 of E Street, North Wilkesboro, Bryson Xavier Moxley, age 21 of I Street, North Wilkesboro, and 20-year-old Ezekiel Reese Leach of Abbington Court, Wilkesboro.
Wilson and Moxley are charged with assault inflicting serious bodily injury and Leach is charged with aid and abet in assault inflicting serious injury, all felonies.
The three are charged with second-degree kidnapping, larceny of a firearm, common law robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, all felonies. They’re also all charged with the misdemeanor offense of assault by pointing a gun.
Warrants with these charges identified Leonardo Kaden Mariano Royal of North Ridge Road as the victim.
A warrant said Wilson is charged with seriously injuring Royal by striking him in the face with a firearm. Another warrant said Moxley is charged with striking Royal and causing serious facial injury. No details were available on Royal’s condition.
Wilson, Moxley and Leach are charged with kidnapping Royal by removing him from one place to another without his consent for facilitating the commission of the felony offenses of strong arm robbery and larceny of a firearm, identified as an Omni Hybrid 5.56-caliber AR pistol worth $500 belonging to Royal. They are charged with conspiring with each other to steal the pistol.
