Three Arrested In Alexander County Drug Bust…Updated

On January 26, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Taylorsville Police Department went to a residence located on Emma Brooke Ln Taylorsville. Officers were attempting to serve a failure to appear warrant. During the investigation Officers located approximately 56 grams of Methamphetamine in the residence along with drug paraphernalia.

53-year old Sonia Lucille Richmond of Taylorsville is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place for controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $150,000. Richmond has an initial court appearance scheduled for today in Taylorsville.

25-year old Kendell Lynn Hill of Taylorsville is charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/ deliver a controlled substance, felony trafficking methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Hill is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $150,000. She has an initial court appearance scheduled for today in Taylorsville.

Hill also has pending charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with license revoked pending in Iredell County.

52-year old Richard Eric Singlestad of Taylorsville is charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/ deliver a controlled substance, felony trafficking methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention with a secured bond of $150,000 with an initial court appearance scheduled for today in Taylorsville.
