Third Suspect Charged In Alexander County Drug Trafficking Conspiracy

A third person has been arrested in an alleged drug trafficking conspiracy in Alexander County.

63-year-old Darlene Nina Williams of Deal Valley Drive, Taylorsville was charged on Tuesday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office with felony conspire to traffic methamphetamine. She has been released after posting a $50,000 secured bond.

Williams is said to have conspired with two-others in the drug conspiracy. As reported on May 22nd, Tricia Diane Warren, age 51 of Stony Point, was charged with felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Warren has been released under a secured bond of $150,000.

On May 29th, B86 News reported the arrest of 61-year-old James Arlon Speaks of J and S LN, Taylorsville. He was charged with felony conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine. Speaks has been released with a posted bond of $75,000.

The three suspects are alleged to have conspired to traffic some 112 grams of methamphetamine.
