Taylorsville Woman Killed In Weekend Crash

The North Carolina Highway Patrol has confirmed the death of a Taylorsville woman after a crash Saturday morning.

A Nissan Titan pickup was traveling north on Highway 16 shortly before 3am on Saturday, April 23rd. The driver of the truck, 39-year old Janett Perez Roman of Taylorsville, was killed when she left the roadway and crashed into a field. She was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was not wearing a seat belt. The Patrol says no other vehicle was involved and impairment is considered likely.
