Taylorsville Woman Charged With Firing Shots Into Occupied Vehcile

An Alexander County woman is facing charges after she allegedly fired shots into an occupied vehicle.

Angela Marie Evans, age 44 of Taylorsville, was arrested by Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Deputies early Friday morning. She’s charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle. Evans is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $50,000. She is scheduled to appear before a judge today in an initial court appearance.

No injuries were reported.
