There are now ten candidates running for Taylorsville Town Council.
On Wednesday, Greg Foster filed at the Alexander County Board of Elections Office.
Foster is vying for one of the four spots to be determined on the November ballot.
Foster joins challengers Eric Bumgarner, Jonnathan Coley, Harold Dagenhart, Glenn Deal, Megan Hefner Fishel, Tamara Odom, Tristan St Clair and the two incumbents Kimberly Brown and Jack Simms.
So far, incumbent Mayor George Holleman is unchallenged.
The deadline to file in Noon on Friday.
