Taylorsville Police Arrest Wilkes County Man On Felony Drug Charges

A Wilkes County man was arrested Thursday evening and charged with felony drug counts by Taylorsville Police.

31-year old Jerry Dean Osborne of North Wilkesboro was taken into custody following a traffic stop by Taylorsville Police Officers.

Osborne is charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver marijuana, felony trafficking marijuana, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place for controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with license revoked and open container of alcohol violation.

Bond has been set at $80,000 and as of earlier today, Osborne remained in the Alexander County Detention Center. A Monday, October 2nd court date is scheduled in Alexander County District Court.

Osborne also has a pair of driving with license revoked charges pending in Wilkes County.
